“She’s a bit of a scaredy cat. She’s not very good in dire or violent situations. She scares easily, which is not such a good thing when you’re in the world of Atlantis. She’s really great under pressure though. I think that’s when she’s at her best, especially when she’s in her element; anything to do with medicine or a complicated medical situation she’s just there. She’s just on. She’s very, very, very smart and very focused.” (more…)

Battlestar Galactica: Razor, is Amazing, – SO SAY WE ALL! Mostly Spoiler Free Review by Michelle AlexandriaOctober 11, 2007
When I went to the mailbox earlier this week there was a little surprise in my box namely a Sci-Fi screener for Battlestar Galactica: Razor. I generally do not review Sci-Fi Channel screeners because I get them so early in the process that the shows are usually incomplete, they are good for background information but not really to review. Razor was the first screener I received from them that was actually complete and wow, did I like this movie. I’m ready for the next season of BSG. (more…)

Battlestar Galactica Season 4 Sneak Peak
Hey everyone, here is a sneak peak at tonight’s Stargate Atlantis.
Check out this week’s installment of Flash Gordon, it features a special guest star – Sam Jones, the man who starred in the original 80s Flash Gordon flick. You know, the one with all the cool Queen music. Normally we at Eclipse hate stunt casting, but this could be very cool. The show will air Friday, Oct 5th at 9pm EST.
This has been a year of discovery for me and one of those finds has been the quirky Sci-Fi show Eureka. When I met the cast at their Vancouver set, I had no clue what the show was about or even what I was looking at. And it seemed like 75 percent of the assembled press were in the same boat. But the Q and A with the cast really won everyone over and their sets truly were amazing. It was clear that the Sci-Fi Channel believed in this show and was going to give it time to find its audience.
One of television’s quirkest shows gets a S3 order. Originally I couldn’t quit get into the series, but after visiting the set, and
meeting with the cast, I’ve come around. It took a bit to grow on me, but I’m starting to get into it, it’s nice to see it get the pickup. Here’s the official press release.
Recently, I had the opportunity to chat with David Hewlett about the fourth season of Stargate: Atlantis, and the how the changes affect everyone’s favorite curmudgeon, Rodney McKay. While we talked mostly about season four of Atlantis, we got into horror movie geek mode; talked a bit about Doctor Who’s impact on his life, and also chatted about the making of his latest film, A Dog’s Breakfast.

This Friday night at 9PM EST the SCI FI Channel enters another amazing scifi series into their scifriday line up. This time around it’s a new take on an old favorite, Flash Gordon. Continuing with Eclipse Magazine’s Flash Gordon mania week, we had a chance to catch up with the beautiful Karen Cliche who stars as bounty Hunter Baylin in the new version of Flash Gordon. Cliche is no stranger to the world of Scifi related television series, having had leading roles on several television series including Mutant X, Young Blades, Adventure Inc., Galidor, Vampire High. She is also no no stranger to the SCI FI Channel having guest starred in their original series The Dresden Files. In Flash Gordon, Karen Cliche plays Baylin who was Ming’s most valuable bounty hunter. Cast out at an early age from her tribe, the Verden, Baylin learned out of necessity to survive on her own.
