While the media were enraptured with the series finale of

“Mean Girls”

May 28, 2004

“Mean Girls” is a ‘chick flick’ aimed at teenagers (and their parents) and tells the story of a teenager trying to fit in after moving from Africa (home schooled) to Illinois. This is an enjoyable teeny-bopper satiric comedy. For the parents it will (1) bring back memories and (2) give them something to discuss with their children.

Need For Speed

There have been no shortage of racing games on the Playstation platform since its inception. Some good, some bad, and some in a class all by themselves. I’ve been a big fan of the Gran Turismo series and the Ridge Racer Titles. Nothing got me quite so pumped up as the NFS: Underground release of last year. Sure there was Midnight Club before it, but Underground really seemed to bring that Fast and Furious lifestyle to the console.

I’ve also just read that NFS:U2 is on the way. It was just a blurb, but I’m all ready to refill my nitrous bottle and have another go !!! I hear that some new makes will be also joining street favorites like Toyota and Mitsubishi.

Many of you newer readers don’t know, that Eclipse originally started off as primarily a Video Game site, with some entertainment news coverage. After spending several years establishing our reputation covering this business called Show, we’re going to branch out and restart our Video Game coverage.

Over the course of the next few months we’re going to jump back into the video game industry, and feature more gaming news, game reviews and game related contests on the website – don’t worry we’re going to keep covering Show “”Biddness”” as only we can. Our new friends at Atari have given us a couple of really cool Duel Masters prize packs to give away. To win, read the press release below and follow the painfully simple contest rules. If you guys show some enthusiasm for this contest, we may do some stuff with Atari’s way cool looking “”Driver 3,”” and Activision’s “”Spiderman 2″” game later in the year. Don’t worry I’ll probably do some more DVD giveaways later this summer.ATARI ANNOUNCES LIMITED EDITION DUEL MASTERS
